Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS), guided by Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, holds multiple Guinness World Records for tree plantation. These include records for planting the most saplings in a short time and the highest number of trees planted overall. A remarkable achievement was made on India’s Independence Day and Saint MSG’s birthday in 2009, when over 9.38 lakh (938,000) trees were planted in just one hour, and 68.73 lakh (6.873 million) trees were planted in a single day.
